Looking for an experience that will give you new insight, a practical, realistic action plan and provide support after you leave the classroom and go back to the real world?    This year, don't just make resolutions; commit to making a meaningful change!  This classroom/ coaching combination offers a profoundly different way to overcome your barriers and create lasting change any area of your professional or personal life you chose to focus on.  Based on the well-known “Immunity to Change™” concept, this workshop sheds light on how our beliefs and mindsets create an “immunity to change,” where we unwittingly protect ourselves from the changes we want to make.

In our  lives, we all face challenges with self-development in areas where we are seemingly "stuck."  Many of us have increased our self-awareness over time through training, coaching, 360 degree feedback and self-reflection, but despite these efforts and our best intentions, lasting change is elusive.  Fewer than 10% of New Year's resoluions lead to lasting change.  Come learn what's getting in the way and how you can beat the odds to create lasting, positive change in your work and life.

This workshop will walk you through a process to diagnose your specific “immunity to change” around a development focus area of your choice, identify what's getting in the way of your growth and work with you, through follow-on coaching, toward overcoming your immunity and creating lasting, positive change.  The follow-on individual coaching sessions are designed to help you integrate the learning into your daily activities and provide support and accountability along the way.

Example self-development focus areas include (but are not limited to): becoming more assertive, being less defensive, shifting focus to more strategic priorities, better time management, speaking up in meetings/public speaking, managing competing priorities, building a stronger network, improving political savvy, delegating, becoming a better listener, improving self-care or work/life balance, etc.

Workshop includes one 8-hour classroom session and three 1-hour, individual coaching sessions.    Additional coaching available at reduced rates.

Non-profit leaders: please contact us for reduced workshop rates.

*Coaching sessions will be arranged by participant, with the first coaching session typically occuring 1-2 days after the classroom session, the second coaching session approximately two weeks later, and the third two to three weeks after the second coaching session.

Upcoming Workshops

You don't have  the bandwidth to get away from the office for multiple days or the budget to pay for travel and in-residence training for everyone who needs it.   And no matter how committed you are during multi-day training, training materials usually end up on a shelf gathering dust once you're back on the job.

Our shorter-duration, harder-hitting, focused training comes with follow-on integration support.  You're away for minimal time and have the support you need to integrate what you learned into real life - making our programs a much better fit for today's professional.

Participants are invited to examine the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that are holding them back and identify the new choices and practices that will move them toward more authentic and wholehearted living.
